Other excitement: he says "apple" now. We were reading this book called "No Biting!" for about, oh I don't know, 40 times in a row, and the first page says "No Biting your friends! What can you bite?" and then you turn the page and the answer is "Apples!" Avery started saying "Apple" himself, and then as we were reading other books I would point to pictures of apples and ask "What is that?" and he would say "Apple!" Although he babbles a lot, he hasn't said a lot of words that we can really understand, so it was cool to see him master a word.
Avery LOVES "talking" on the phone. Here, it honestly sounded like he was saying: "Yeah? Oh sh*t. Yeah? Oh sh*t." But I'm sure we misheard him.
(Isn't this adorable?!?! Carolyn got it at a consignment sale. It is raining today, so we were excited to have an opportunity for Avery to wear it!):
