And I think we tuckered him out.
Today we went to NYU hospital for an ultrasound of Avery's hip. Our pediatrician heard "More clicking than I'd like" and scheduled us for an ultrasound (the very next day!). Turns out that everything looks great and his hip is totally fine. They will check again at our next regular appointment with dr. Cosme.
NYU hospital is at 33rd and 1st Avenue. In real distance that's MAYBE six miles. In Manhattan distance (all the way across town, pretty far down, during daytime traffic) it may as well be 100 miles. It took us forever to get there. Once we arrived we did meet a nice couple there with their daughter for the same procedure. They were lovely and it was nice to talk to them and pass the time.
It's been a long day. I think we will all sleep well tonight.
I think Avery keeps getting cuter.

I miss little Avery and his sweet newborn funny faces and noises. He is the cutest and sweetest baby I have seen in--well--almost 16 years!
