Toothpaste Dance!

Avery loves his new pajamas (on clearance from Kohl's, thanks Bubbe!) and he LOVES toothpaste! We are happy that he likes to brush his teeth, but less happy that he wants to suck it down directly from the tube. It was awfully cute to see him dancing with his toothbrush and toothpaste though. He LOVES to dance! The other day I took him to daycare, and they had music playing. Avery instantly starting dancing with another little boy. He recognized the music, and Miss Belen told me that this was Avery's favorite song. He likes it because it's a "freeze dance" song. Every so often the music stops and the singers call out "Freeze!" and Avery knows how to freeze! So adorable!! So we have been freeze-dancing at home too:

This is Avery's current favorite book: "The Wheels on the Bus." We read it at least ten times a day. It used to be a fun pop-up book but Avery ripped out all the fun moving features, so now we just have to pretend. He still adores it though. He sits on my lap and we read it together by singing and pretending the book is still intact (like the windshield wipers still actually go "swish swish swish") and after the book ends, he picks it up, lifts it over his head, and whacks me in the face with it. This is his way of saying "AGAIN!"

Avery loves music, and he got to enjoy listening to his Aunt Hannah practice for her conservatory auditions:

It is very funny to wear Mama's sunglasses:
