Angry Birds Space exhibit at Kennedy Space Center!

On our cruise, Carolyn took Avery to a very special outing to the Kennedy Space Center!

Carnival Cruise 2014! 8 days of fun.

We loved our cruise last summer so much that we've been wanting to go on another one! We decided to go on another one.  It was just a slightly different itinerary -- 8 days instead of 7 and on a slightly bigger boat (the "Splendor" instead of the "Pride"). And Opa joined us! Our friend and colleague Leslie came with her son also.  We saw comedy, sang karaoke, ate a lot of ice cream cones, spent a lot of time in the hot tub.  In the Bahamas, we went to the beach resort and in Freeport, I went snorkeling with Opa.

 "Do you want to build a snowman?"

 Avery has been enjoying cub scouts.  A big activity that the boys do each year is build pinewood derby cars and then race them.  Avery made a simple wedge car, which he then spray painted green and decorated with number stickers.  He won 3rd prize among the Tiger scouts!
