I don't know whose motorcycle this is, but Avery thinks it is SO COOL! "Bike! Bike!" he says, noting that the brake lights in back are "oh-wee" (orange). I tell him that when he's a big boy, we will buy him a big boy bike, but not a motorized one. Anyway, first he needs to master his tricycle.
Playdate! Avery, Olivia, and Jason made their own pizzas (sort of -- Avery just ate the sauce straight from the jar), swam in the backyard, put on jewelry, and had fun!
It was a beautiful day out, and we decided to go to the New York Aquarium where we'd never been but where we get free admission thanks to our Bronx zoo membership. It is a great place, but Avery was just a little bit too excited: he would yell as loudly as he could: "SHEEEEF!" ("fish") every time he saw a fish. And it is an aquarium, so he saw a lot of "sheef!"
After the Aquarium, we swung by Kim and Jess's house for a "quick lunch" that ended up, as always, being an all-day playdate! The kids played in their kiddy pool and ate ice cream outside. They got so messy that the three Musketeers had to have a bath together and they LOVED it! None of them wanted to get out of the shower; they just wanted to stay and play!
