SUPERBABY!!!!



Superbaby is trying to crawl, but so far his superpowers are a bit limited in terms of mobility:


Superbaby is always rather serious when he plays with his toys:

swing time and bed time. on the swings, the breeze blew against Avery's face, making him laugh and laugh . . . in his crib, he looks like an angel.

Avery is getting more mobile. He rolled over for the first time on Friday, and now he is a rolling-around machine! We sat him on the floor to play, left the room for a moment, and when we came back, he was on his tummy, wiggling his butt around and trying to crawl! He REALLY wants to move around on his own. Once he does, we'll have to keep a constant eye on him!

At 4th U this morning, we put him in the nursery for the first time (he has always sat with us during the service, but he has a tendency to get fussy during "Silent Meditation" so we thought maybe it was time for him to be in the nursery). The woman who takes care of the babies (he was the only one there today) said that he was "so good!" and "so happy!" and the only time he cried was when she sneezed and it startled him! He really is good and happy, and we have more and more fun with him every day. We also think he keeps getting cuter!

Playdate with Oliver

Avery and I went to Oliver's house to play today! We know his parents from our Lamaze group, and since they live nearby, we decided to get together so the boys could play. Avery loved all of Oliver's fun toys, and they were pretty cute together:
